George Popescu is a highly capable and seasoned culinary professional with over a decade of experience managing dynamic, high-energy kitchens. He brings the essential, hands-on expertise required to build and lead a successful and profitable culinary operation.
George's impressive resume is a showcase of versatility and leadership. He has masterfully managed every detail of launching a country inn from the ground up and has led teams in prestigious, high-volume environments like the Burgh Island Hotel, consistently delivering over 140 high-quality meals daily. His skills were further sharpened in world-renowned, Michelin-starred kitchens such as Chez Bruce and La Côte Saint Jacques. This powerful combination of grassroots operational command and elite-level experience makes him uniquely qualified to identify chefs who not only have creative flair but also the discipline and skill to excel under pressure
